THE GIRLING AWARD
Landscape (Prints) Robert Girling has supplied the following information- This was originally awarded to the winner of the print section in the monthly 'Quickie' competition. The 'Quickie' competition ceased for the 1989-90 season and the Award was not presented again until 1993-94 when a new open competition for Landscape prints was introduced. This was for Black and White photographs up to 20 inches by 16 inches. The first such competition was judged by Gordon and Freda Head. |
