TROPHIES

PROJECTED DIGITAL IMAGES COMPETITIONS

ALBERT HILLMAN TROPHY (FORMERLY SLIDE OF THE YEAR) (Advanced)

SUSSEX SHIELD (Development) 

Two projected digital images may be entered in each of the four rounds during the season.  From each round a number of digital images will be selected for the final and in addition each entrant may submit one unsuccessful digital image in the final.  The number of digital images each entrant may submit and the number of rounds may change from year to year.  If in doubt please check with the slide leader.

SOUTHERN CROSS TROPHY- Digital Photographer of the Year -Open to all members.  A set of six digital images demonstrating the photographer's VERSATILITY.  

ROGER BLACKWELL TROPHY - Natural History (Open to all Members) No more that two digital images per entrant which must be TITLED. 

BETTY WELLS TROPHY - Landscapes (Open to all Members) No more than two digital images per entrant. 

SPECIAL COMPETITION - Set Subject, To be decided upon each year. (Open to all Members) No more that two digital images per entrant.  


Projected Digital Images may be submitted on any media, i.e. CD, Memory Card, etc

 

AUDIO VISUAL

PEGGY ASH MEMORIAL TROPHY - (Open to all Members) No more than 2 entries per member.  Joint entries are welcome.  DIGITAL IMAGES ONLY will be accepted.

CAMERA CENTRE AWARD - Audio Visual Sound Track (Open to all Members) An award for the best soundtrack accompanying an Audio Visual sequence in the PEGGY ASH MEMORIAL TROPHY.

 

PRINT COMPETITIONS

All prints must be mounted, the maximum mount size being 50cm x 40cm.
Print title, entrants name, competition name and competition date are to be marked on reverse of each print.  See print leader for labels.
If entering more than one print per competition/round, members must number their prints in order of preference (1 the most preferred) In the event that there are more entries than time available to judge, prints with the lowest preference will be returned for entry in a subsequent competition.

KEITH DONALD SHIELD (Development) 

In the above competitions, two prints may be entered in each of the four rounds during the season. From each round a number of prints will be selected from the final and in addition each entrant may submit one unsuccessful print into the final. The number of prints each entrant may submit and the number of rounds may change from year to year.  If in doubt, please check with the Print Leader.

 

STRONG TROPHY (Open to all Members) An entry of six prints, to be displayed and judged as a panel.  Maximum size of prints to be 50cms x 40cms

JOHN BURN MEMORIAL TROPHY - Natural History (Open to all Members) No more than 2 prints per entrant.  Maximum size of prints to be 50cms x 40cms. All prints must be TITLED.

THE GIRLING AWARD - Landscapes (Open to all Members) No more than 2 prints per entrant.  Maximum size of prints to be 50cms x 40cms.

SPECIAL COMPETITION - Set Subject, to be decided upon each year   (Open to all Members) No more than 2 prints per entrant.  Maximum size of prints to be 50cms x 40cms. Suspended for this season.

ALL PRINTS TO BE MOUNTED.  MAXIMUM SIZE OF MOUNT 50cms x40cms.  ENTRANTS NAME, COMPETITION TO BE ENTERED AND
TITLE, IF ANY, TO BE ON REVERSE SIDE OF EACH PRINT.
